Emergency Treatment
We aim to see any emergency on the day it arises, as long as you contact us before 11.00, and certainly within 24 hours. Please note, our reception staff, whilst able to triage your problem, are not clinically trained to diagnose and as such emergency appointments are provided so that the dentist may relieve the immediate issue and diagnose what treatment, if any, is necessary. A further appointment will be needed for this.
Out of hours care is managed on behalf of NHS England Cheshire, Warrington & Wirral Area Team (NHS England) and advice can be obtained any evening up to 9.30pm by calling 0161 476 9651.

At the weekend and bank holidays, urgent treatment is available for those patients with severe pain, swelling, bleeding or dental trauma, please note, an appointment will not be offered for lost fillings or crowns, and only temporary treatment is available.
Please phone 0161 476 9651 between 9am and 9.30pm,where necessary an appointment will be offered at the Chester Clinic, however if this is full an alternative clinic may be offered.
Please be aware that although Dr Haworth is often on call at the Chester Clinic, this service is independent of Willaston Dental Care and as such is subject to the NHS Band 1 urgent care fee for any emergency assessment and/or treatment. Payment is payable at the time of treatment by cash, or free if an acceptable NHS exemption applied.
The Value of Time
We appreciate the value of your time, and always aim to see clients on time. Sometimes, however, there are unforeseen circumstances or emergencies that prevent this.
At all times we will keep you informed, and if necessary, offer the opportunity to reschedule.
In return, we expect equal consideration. Whilst we understand that the need to cancel an appointment may, occasionally, be unavoidable, it would be appreciated if more than 24 hours notice could be given, for which no charge will be made.
Please note that cancellations at short notice, or missed appointments without notice may incur a fee.
To avoid this, we request that all cancellations be notified directly with a member of the dental team rather than by message on the answer machine facility.
