Meet the Team
All our dentists adhere to the strict guidelines governing the profession under strict guidance from the General Dental Council (GDC) "Standards for Dental Professionals".
Dental Hygienists and Dental Therapy

We utilise the skills of a Dental Hygienist, and an Oral Health Educator who are trained in all aspects of Preventative Dental Health Care, including treatment of periodontal (gum) disease, fluoride decay prevention and sensitivity treatments.

We also have 2 Dental Therapists who, in addition to Preventative Dental Care, can provide dental treatments on both adults and children such as permanent and temporary fillings and removal of deciduous teeth as well as take impressions and dental radiographs.

All clinical staff, although integrally involved in planning patient care, work under the prescription of the dentist and cannot provide an initial diagnosis. Both our Hygienist Mary, and therapist April qualified from Liverpool Dental School of Hygiene.

Our qualified Dental Nurses are Nicky, Jeni, Carolyn, Charlotte and La’Renn. They are all qualified to taken Dental Radiographs according to a dentists’ prescription.

Dental Nurses

Jeni is also our Oral Health Educator. As such she works with the children of our practice to ensure good tooth brushing and dental health. She complements the periodontal therapy received from the hygienist for adult patients and is able to take impressions and diagnostic records for procedures such as tooth whitening and Invisalign orthodontic treatments.

Reception and Administrative Team

Sharon runs our front of practice reception, with the help of the nursing team. They are not clinically qualified to diagnose or advise patients without a clinicians input, however they are able to help with all non-clinical aspects of the practice, making appointments and dealing with monetary issues, as well as being the first point of contact for any clinical issues.
Lynne is the Practice administrator. She helps with the day to day running of the practice as well as dealing with patient administration issues.
